Conditions Treated

Specializing in treating bone, joint, muscle, and nerve conditions, including pain and injuries, CRMC’s orthopaedic team is the area’s top choice for orthopaedic care. Our treatment covers all ages, aiming to restore your ability to enjoy activities like golfing, running, hiking, biking, or simply walking your dog.

Knee Arthritis

Knee pain can limit your activity, often due to the gradual breakdown of cartilage, a protective tissue covering the ends of your bones. In a healthy knee, bones glide smoothly, but in osteoarthritis, cartilage wears away, leading to bone-on-bone contact. This can also cause the formation of bony bumps known as “bone spurs.”

Knee Pain

Our knees endure significant force, supporting the body’s weight, maintaining stability, and cushioning impact during activities like walking and running. As a result, experiencing knee pain at some point in our lives is not uncommon.

Ligament Injury

An ACL tear is an injury involving the tearing of the ACL ligament in the knee joint. The ACL is one of the bands of tissue that connects the femur to the tibia. This type of injury can be painful and often leads to knee instability.

Fracture Care

A fracture is a broken bone, which can range from a crack to a complete shatter, depending on the force involved. Symptoms include pain, swelling, and difficulty moving the injured area. Treatment options include casting, surgery, or other methods depending on the fracture’s severity. Healing usually takes about six to eight weeks, during which X-rays track progress. Afterward, exercises may be prescribed to restore strength and flexibility to the affected area.
