Our Services

Your provider may order laboratory testing to assess your health, monitor chronic conditions, or support your wellness journey. Laboratory services are available at all CRMC locations. Tests not performed by our lab are sent to reference laboratories, including Allina Health Laboratory, Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, or Mayo Medical Laboratories.

Lab 2

Hematology

Hematological tests may be requested by your healthcare provider as part of your annual physical or to assess illness. These tests can check both your red and white blood cells, as well as platelets. They can help screen for anemia, infections, hemophilia, blood-clotting disorders, and leukemia.

Coagulation

Coagulation tests may be performed, at the request of your doctor, to test your blood’s ability to clot and the time required to clot. These tests assess your risk of excessive bleeding or the risk of clots developing somewhere in blood vessels.

Urinalysis

Urinalysis testing can be used to help screen and monitor common health conditions such as liver disease, kidney disease, diabetes, and to diagnose urinary tract infections (UTIs).

Serology

Serology testing, also known as antibody testing, checks for proteins in the blood that are made by the immune system to fight diseases. Serology tests can also detect certain antibodies that may be a sign of autoimmune disorders.

Point-of-Care Testing

Point-of-care testing provides rapid test results. These tests can help identify or provide the information needed to help manage chronic diseases with reliable results in a timely manner.

Blood Bank (Transfusion Services)

Transfusion services are available exclusively at the CRMC-Crosby location. The Blood Bank is a department within the hospital where blood and blood products are stored and prepared for transfusion.
