Bio

Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Physician Courtenay Deane, D.O., has practiced Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center since October 2017. Osteopathic Medicine is a complete system of medical care that combines the patient’s needs with the current practice of medicine, surgery, and obstetrics. Osteopathy can treat neurologic syndromes, digestive disorders, respiratory illness, genito-urinary problems, lymphedema, fibromyalgia/pain syndromes, post-surgical and incisional pains, scar pain, and trauma. Board Certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, Dr. Deane earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology-Medical Sciences degrees at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.  She completed an internship and residency in the Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Department at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York, where she also served as Chief Resident and was named Hospital Intern of the Year.

Dr. Deane always finds it rewarding when patients come to her after struggling with their symptoms for some time, and her physical exam findings validate their symptoms and concerns. She is currently accepting new pediatric and pregnant patients.
