Bio

Obstetrician/Gynecologist Alisha Lindberg, M.D., in September 2022 began treating patients at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Crosby and Baxter clinics. Originally from Scandia, Minn., Dr. Lindberg earned her Medical Degree at the University of Minnesota where she completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from the University of Minnesota-Morris.

Dr. Lindberg is passionate about comprehensive women’s healthcare. She has a specific interest in family planning, adolescent gynecology, infertility, high-risk obstetrics, and international work. She has participated in medical mission trips to Santiago, Dominican Republic, and Jalapa, Nicaragua. She also rotated in San Jose, Costa Rica, during medical school. Dr. Lindberg has served as a volunteer prenatal educator at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond, Wisconsin, and contributed to the Breastfeeding Friendly Worksite Initiative there.

“I enjoy the continuity of care, seeing patients over time, and establishing relationships with them. This is one of the main reasons I chose OB/GYN as a specialty as well. My favorite part is patient education. It is so valuable for patients to be able to participate in the decision-making process regarding their health. I like to ensure patients have access to high-quality, evidence-based information to make informed choices about what is best for them.”

Outside of her practice, Dr. Lindberg enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. We often walk our two large dogs, bike, or go on the boat!
