Bio
Certified Physician Assistant Abby Dingmann of Lakeville joined the medical staff of CRMC in February 2021 to practice with Fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon Jeffrey Klassen, M.D., who specializes in shoulder and elbow injuries and conditions. As a physician assistant, she utilizes advanced techniques to assist in performing treatment for shoulder arthroscopy, shoulder instability surgery, rotator cuff repair/reconstruction, total and reverse total shoulder replacement, sports and trauma-related elbow ligamentous and reconstructive surgery, elbow arthroscopy, management of the stiff elbow and total elbow arthroplasty. Dingmann’s experience includes completing rotations at numerous Minnesota hospitals and clinics. She also worked as a Board-Certified Senior Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens for six years, Medical Scribe at Essential Health St. Mary’s Emergency Department for one year, and as a Research Lab Assistant for three years, all in Duluth. Dingmann earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at The College of Saint Scholastica and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Hispanic Studies at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, Swenson College of Science & Engineering. Outside of her practice, she enjoys staying physically active by running, cycling, and hiking. She also enjoys tacos and traveling with her husband.
