Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Physical Therapist David Campbell recently fulfilled the requirements established by the Lymphology Association of North America and is now designated as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.
Campbell successfully passed a comprehensive examination by demonstrating knowledge about the lymphatic system and lymphedema management. The credential confirms that he has achieved the highest level of competency in the profession and has remained current with advancements in the field.
As the lead Physical Therapist of CRMC’s Transitional Care Rehabilitation Team since 2014, Campbell has extensive knowledge in many aspects of the clinical field, with special interest in the complexities of geriatric care and stroke recovery. He is also certified in LSVT Big; a comprehensive rehabilitation approach for those with Parkinson’s Disease and movement disorders. After obtaining his undergraduate degree at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, Campbell furthered his education at Des Moines University, where he obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.
