About This Provider:

Dr. Abby Murray, who served as a hospitalist at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center since July 2015, provides geriatric care services along with David Goodwin, M.D., at the Care Center and Heartwood Senior Living Community in Crosby. An internist, Dr. Murray focuses on residents’ health care and works as part of a comprehensive team to address issues. Medical professionals who work with Dr. Murray include nurses, social workers, nutritionists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, and psychiatrists. Dr. Murray has special interests in caring for patients in Post-Acute and Transitional Care Units as well as Long-term Care, Assisted Living, and Memory Care facilities. Dr. Murray earned her Medical Degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.  She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis and is a graduate of Staples-Motley High School. She and her husband, Andrew, have two children. Outside of healthcare, Dr. Murray enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, being on the water, and traveling.
