Cuyuna Lakes Lunch Bunch
August 6 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Cuyuna Lakes Lunch Bunch will provide nutritious meals for area youth this summer. Organized by local churches and Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, this free program ensures that children can access healthy lunches when school meal programs are unavailable.
The Lunch Bunch will offer lunches on weekdays at various locations across the Cuyuna Lakes area. The schedule is as follows:
Monday – Friday
June 3 – August 30 (except July 4)
- 11:00 a.m. – 11:10 a.m. – Veteran’s Park, Deerwood (across from the Deerwood American Legion)
- 11:20 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Grandpa’s Park, Ironton (behind MacDaddy’s Donut Garage)
- 11:35 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. – Cuyuna Lakes Community Church, 604 Oak Street, Crosby
- 11:50 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Cuyuna Range Food Shelf, 302 Cross Ave., Crosby
The primary goal of the Cuyuna Lakes Lunch Bunch is to serve students who rely on free or reduced lunches during the school year. This initiative is made possible through the dedicated efforts of local volunteers, including members of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the St. Joseph Chapter of St. Vincent de Paul in Crosby, Cascade Methodist Church, Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood, and employees of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center.
