Employee must commit to working 2 shifts a week or a minimum of 10 hours a week. Must work in a nursing home or nursing home portion of the organization. Limit of $5,000 per school year (August – July).
Formal written approval must be received prior to taking a class. Must hold a FTE status and have worked for the facility for 1 year. $2,000 for undergraduate degree coursework $3,000 for bachelor’s or higher in nursing or graduate degree coursework. Funds are based on school year (August through July). Formal written approval must be received prior to taking a class.
New Care Center Employees, up to $5000.00/yr, Employee would need to meet same working requirements as the Care Center Scholarship. It would be a reimbursement paid to the employee, quarterly. This is for those to become LPN’s or new RN’s.
Funding to further education in specific technical: LPN, RN(ASN), CMA, MLT, RT, Rad. Tech., $8000/yr for up to 4 years.
