Expert Care. Real Connection.
cuyuna regional medical center
60 Years Strong
Independence is a spirit — a sense that on the Cuyuna Range, it’s our responsibility to take care of our own. In fact, Cuyuna Regional Medical Center was born of adversity and that sense of responsibility. When the iron mines were slowing down in 1958, and the Miner’s Hospital closed, prospects for high-caliber healthcare in the region looked grim. But our communities pulled together, and by 1964, the Cuyuna Range District Hospital had opened. Our challenges today are similarly not insignificant, but our spirit – like our future – is bright.
In the heart of Crosby, Minnesota, we stand as a prominent, comprehensive healthcare institution, steadfast in our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community. Comprised of a 25-bed critical access hospital, five physician clinics (Crosby, Baxter, Breezy Point, Longville, and Super One in Crosby), a 48-bed nursing facility, and a senior living community in partnership with Presbyterian Homes and Services. Cuyuna Regional Medical Center aims to be a cornerstone of health and well-being in the region.
Services & SpecialtiesOur Impact
Our commitment to exceptional care goes beyond the confines of our hospital walls. We recognize that promoting community health involves addressing factors that extend beyond traditional healthcare settings. We are dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of our patients — actively recruiting and retaining skilled physicians and specialists essential to our community’s well-being.
Events CalendarA Community Partnership
We understand that true health and wellness extends beyond medical interventions. Real connection is forged in schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods. We partner with local organizations to build meaningful relationships with our community members. Through programs and activities that foster health, healing, and wellness, we are creating a network of support where we work and live. By assessing demographics, practice patterns, and actively engaging in community outreach, we cultivate an environment where individuals feel a genuine connection to their healthcare providers. And that’s just the beginning.
Donation RequestsA Family of Difference Makers
Beyond the stethoscopes and scrubs, our organization thrives on the shared values and genuine care that define our collective spirit. Just as families support and uplift one another, our diverse team of healthcare professionals collaborates seamlessly to provide the highest standard of care. This care extends beyond professional duties, fostering a culture where compassion, understanding, and a sense of togetherness are not just encouraged but celebrated. In every interaction, we embody the essence of a healthcare family, dedicated to healing and thriving together, and making a difference in our community.
