Laboratory Services

Complex Diagnostics. Professionally Trained Staff.

The laboratory at CRMC provides a wide range of highly complex laboratory tests for inpatient, outpatient, emergency patients and residents in our long-term facilities. CRMC's laboratory also works with many area businesses to provide workplace drug screenings for their employees.

For certain tests, courier services to reference laboratories provide turnaround times of 24 to 48 hours. We have a team of dedicated caring laboratory professionals including Certified Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, and Phlebotomists. As the volumes of tests continue to rise, we grow to meet these needs.

CRMC can perform laboratory services at our Crosby, Baxter, Breezy Point, Longville, and Super One Clinic locations.

Services

Hematological tests may be requested by your healthcare provider as part of your annual physical. These tests can check both your red and white blood cells, as well as platelets. They can help screen for anemia, infections, hemophilia, blood-clotting disorders, and leukemia.

Coagulation tests may be performed, at the request of your doctor, to test your blood’s ability to clot and the time required to clot. These tests assess your risk of excessive bleeding or the risk of clots developing somewhere in blood vessels.

CRMC’s Laboratory Services offers urinalysis testing which can be used both for employers conducting drug screenings and to help screen and monitor common health conditions such as liver disease, kidney disease, diabetes, and to diagnose urinary tract infections (UTIs).

Serology testing, also known as antibody testing, checks for proteins in the blood that are made by the immune system to fight diseases. Serology tests can also detect certain antibodies that may be a sign of autoimmune disorders.

CRMC’s Lab offers point-of-care testing to provide rapid test results. These tests can help identify or provide the information needed to help manage chronic diseases with reliable results in a timely manner.
