Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Food Service Director Jackie Godfrey of Ironton recently became a Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional, the highest level of professional competence for dietary managers.
Godfrey achieved the status by passing the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers’ CDM/CFPP examination. The Board is the credentialing agency for the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals.
A CRMC culinary employee the past 11 years, Godfrey was promoted to Food Service Director in 2020 after spending the previous seven years as Assistant Culinary Director. She attended North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park and is a graduate of Coon Rapids High School. The director previously worked as a server at Chilis in Blaine and Dairy Queen in Coon Rapids. Godfrey and her husband, Jay, have two children.
