Dr. Bolton Smith joined RDR in July 2004 as a Diagnostic Radiologist and is certified by the American Board of Radiology. She completed medical school at the University of Iowa College of Medicine and received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish from the University of Northern Iowa and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Bolton Smith completed her residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and is a member of the American College of Radiology, the American College of Phlebology, and the Radiological Society of North America. 

Her professional interest and expertise include breast imaging and procedures, peripheral angiography, DVT lysis, GU interventions, and imaging. She has expertise in venous laser ablation and sclerotherapy for venous incompetence and embolization for pelvic congestion syndrome.
